Preface

Over the years as I have shared to others what is in this book, so often they say to me, "You can’t really believe that!" Or – "You can’t expect me to believe that." No, I do not expect anyone to believe anything. I do know there are thousands out there who already have the experiences described in here and who need help. For the others it is a paradigm shift – a radical change in thinking. But the entire Christian faith was a radical shift at the time it was born 2,000 years ago. The interpretation of the Bible concerning a man who became a physical sacrifice as the Messiah did not match the common interpretation of the Old Testament Jews any more than it satisfies Jews today. But Christianity is based on truth and much of Truth involves the Spirit world. The world of the spirit is a shift for those whose lives are focused on externals.

For me, personally, it is not just a matter of believing. I have personally lived every single word you will read on every single page. None of this is theory to me. But living this, while it brings me personal victory, means a lot of extra effort. It is easier to run to the doctor. It is easier to ask a politician to get a law passed. But in the end, our winning in life is a matter of doing things God’s way in the spiritual world, where victories are final and where we are more than conquerors. It is a path meant for all believers, not just myself. Please enter with me into the joy of the Lord in these pages knowing we have fulfilled our heavenly calling.

Introduction

This January a counselor at our local high school told me, with considerable alarm, that students were openly putting curses on their teachers in class. They would cut themselves and drink their own blood. Four teachers had left in the first semester; one had died, two were very sick, and the most recent teacher-victim was so stressed out he was under a doctor's care and staying at home.

Fifty students gather on the school grounds weekly to study casting spells and other occult literature. Now we see the fruit of a godless educational system coming of age. The American public High School can be a prison for people who have committed no crime. If you don't attend school at least to the age 16 the authorities will look for you and force you to go or, as a parent, to send your children. If there are evil forces there, and occult practices extend in many places down to transcendental meditation for tiny tots, your only recourse is private education or home schooling, impossible for many parents.

Young people in every grade from 4th to the end of graduate school must contend with the promotion and encouragement of deliberate wickedness around them. The authorities are stymied.

My daughter teaches school in a rough section of a Texas City. Her fourth graders have been known to wear beepers to notify them that a potential drug customer waits. Occult behavior, including Dungeons and Dragons, karate as a control freaky-thing, and rock music, is also connected with teen suicide about which much has already been written. (See Teflon© Chapter.) What could they do?

I offered to share with both students and teachers what I knew about this - the basics of fighting Satanism and other varieties of devil worship, curses, hexes, spells, how to bind demons and loose good angels, but she said they wouldn't allow me there. "It isn't just that you are a Christian, but," she said, "these people are either atheists or at the very least secular humanists, and they won't receive anything that has God's Name on it."

Six months have passed and nothing has changed. The teachers are getting sicker and the other students are affected because they have not learned spiritual control techniques. If there ever was a school where one might expect a shooting, this is it. Even a non-Christian or a non-churched person cannot help but be repulsed by such goings on and want to find an answer.

So finally, I started this book after learning that a friend's child, who would get up in the middle of the night to dance in the woods under the moon, had been placed in a mental institution. Her parents need to know what is in here. Maybe you (and I am writing primarily to teenagers) and your parents are welcome - do too.

Emergency Tactics

What if . . .

A student with an automatic rifle enters a schoolroom
or
Threatens to ra*pe you
or
Puts a knife to your throat and says, "Don't make a move."
or
You are in a car and the driver is taking you, God knows where.

Regardless of whether you understand this or not - First you should say

STOP in the Name of Jesus.
Or
I command you in the Name of Jesus, drop that gun.
or
Stop this car in Jesus' Name. Or, just screaming Jesus at the rapist will make him stop or flee.

You'll notice that we've capitalized Jesus' Name because it is so powerful. Here is your power promise: "That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and in earth, and under the earth."All living creatures, including demons and people who reject God, WILL BOW at His Name - no exceptions.

When demons are cast out of people it is done "in the Name of Jesus." We can do this in His Name because as believers, we have His authority, which He gave to His people to use.

Another truth:"Have we not prophesied in thy Name? And in thy Name have cast out devils?"Today Jesus' disciples cast out devils just as they did when He was alive. What motivates and energizes Satanists, even teenage ones, is the very same demons (sometimes called devils, or unclean or evil spirits) that roamed the earth since the fall of Adam."And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my Name they shall cast out devils."

Now for some drill. Try doing this in the bedroom or the bathroom in front of the mirror. Pretend someone has a gun and has asked you for all your money.

Very loudly say, "drop that gun in the Name of Jesus." The louder the better. (And pray the gun doesn't go off when it hits the floor. Only kidding.)

Really, this works. Demons flee at Jesus' Name. People who have done this, and they are many, report the robber runs away. Something like that happened to me when I was at a stop sign; a man jumped into the passenger's seat of the car. He wanted a ride. He wanted other things too. By the time we got to the next stop sign he was glad to be gone.

If teenagers knew about the Name of Jesus there would be a lot less date ra*pe that there is today; approximately 30% of all unreported ra*pes are on dates. So the Name of Jesus, spoken out loud is your first weapon in time of danger.

The second tool is the blood of Jesus. Your church, if you attend one, may never mention it. But note this:They overcame him (meaning the devil) by the blood of the Lamb . . .The word "overcoming" pictures two wrestlers - one has the other in such a lock that for all his fat and muscle he can't budge an inch. And you do that by only the word spoken from your mouth.

Let's stop here a minute and talk about Satan, the devil, demons, etc. Briefly, Lucifer was one of three angels in the original heaven who had been given authority directly under God Himself. But he got a fat head given his position as head of the heavenly choir. This is one reason why there is so much demonic music in all cultures and in all historical times, modern rock being as bad as it gets. Lucifer was jealous of God's position so he set up his own kingdom in opposition. As a result he and a group of angels who rebelled with him, were cast out of heaven into hell.

They don't get the chance to be reconciled to God the way people do because they had no outside temptation. Some of those bumped angels are chained in hell, but the majority, and they number in the billions, are here working on earth and are generally called demons, devils, or evil spirits. Except that they rank in power, size and wickedness, all these general names mean the same. Once they were good angels with good names, like Joy, Happy, Grace, and they are now given evil names like Depression, Mockery and Hate. Lucifer got a new name too - Satan. In the Bible a changed relationship to God always resulted in a new name, like Abram became Abraham, Saul became Paul, etc. Women got new names too.

Sometimes God shows us He has a terrific sense of humor by giving a terrible person a horrible name. One of the most devious and vicious of all women was Jezebel, whose name means Purity.

Now the Devil is really the same person as Satan, but just as we use Christ and Jesus for the same person, and just as we have different names for ourselves, nicknames and pet names, so the Enemy has a variety of names.

It doesn't really matter because Jesus is the Name above all Names and anything done in His Name has superior power over anything done in any demons' name. Demons seek human bodies because they don't have physical bodies of their own. They do have a spirit, however, which is why they can't get into your spirit.

Anyway, if you are a Christian, your spirit is reserved for the Holy Spirit. What the devil needs is your mind, your will, and your emotions so he can think, feel and eventually perform all the wicked things he wants done in the world. They can act out the purposes of their kingdom - like shooting kids in the schoolyard, or - suicide. So when someone says you can't have demons inside, remember this: that the Spirit is in spirit places, and the devils are in other places. (See Velcro© Chapter.)

I have a good friend who used to do drugs. One night she ended up in jail and a huge woman in the same cell said she was going to kill her. Now Sherri (my friend) is quite small and she knew this was no empty threat. (Sherri wasn't even a Christian then; she had just been messing around with church.) Huddled in one corner of the cell she repeated "the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus" and before long the woman yawned and fell asleep. Demons as so terrified of the blood of Jesus that they cannot stand to be near anything that is covered by it.

It may be a brand new thought to you, to cover something in the Blood of Jesus that is being troubled by demons, but use this tool too. When my computer acts up, I pray the blood over all inward parts and the thing shapes up!

So why does the man with the gun flee at the Name of Jesus? (Don't worry, the cops will find him later.) Or when the blood is spoken whispered or even thought? When you says "In the Name of Jesus" you are really saying this - Jesus by His death has given ME His power to use instead of Him being here.

Let me draw a parallel. When you charge something on your MasterCard, you are allowed to do this because you have good credit in your own name, and they know you are going to pay your bill. Jesus has built up credit for us in His heavenly bank so we can withdraw it when we need it. Only we must not use this power for our selfish purposes.

There is another circumstance you have probably been through as well. Someone says to you "We have put a curse on you; you have until next Friday " -or I am going to get you for this" - or - "I have called friends and I have plans for you." This is called a curse. What are you going to do, besides be afraid? or angry? Our emotions are worthless in fighting the enemy; only Jesus' power works.

The answer is:"Bless them that curse you and pray for them that despitefully use you." Blessing the person who curses you has the effect of turning the curse back upon them, not the human being, but the demons! (See Curses Chapter.) A blessing focuses God's attention on the cursOR instead of the cursEE.

Most of us are unaware of this but it is possible to pray to the devil without realizing it. Any prayer that is not God's will or a prayer in opposition to the Word of God constitutes a phony prayer. Since God won't answer it, the enemy hangs around for his chance to answer the prayer. That, in fact, is what a curse really is, a prayer that fell into the wrong hands. By asking God to bless the person who curses you, you are, in effect, taking the curses back to God for God to dispose of. Also, prayer to the devil puts us in obligation to him and someday he'll come around to collect what he thinks we owe him.

We all have heard our mothers speaking to a door-to-door salesman that they want to be rid of. "I'll have to speak to my husband," they'll say. That ordinarily gets rid of the pest. Think of God as the husband who comes to the door to deal with the intruder.

Back to saying "God Bless you." Since this is not a common phrase to you (probably) try practicing in the bedroom mirror these words, aloud, until you no longer feel self conscious about saying them. More than a dozen people have reported that just saying out loud the words - The blood of Jesus - caused an intruder to scream and leave the room.

Let's consider another possible situation where you are in some physical danger, or anticipate it, or are being driven in a car someplace you do not want to go. One of the things that won't help is an amulet. For example, if you carry your Bible (or wear a cross around your neck, or have a religious medal in your pocket) into some dangerous place or some place you shouldn't be, you will not be protected. Carrying an amulet like this is a subtle form of the occult. (Of course if it is WITH your will, you're in deep trouble. We'll go into that in more detail in a future chapter.)

Full power over the devil requires that we must believe. Believing is much easier after we have done this once or twice, and we see that it works. And if believing is hard just pray as the fellow did in the Bible."Lord, I believe - help my unbelief!" This is the knowledge that will keep us from perishing

It is time for a pop quiz. Who is the king of Hell?

Answer: No, it is not Satan; it's Jesus. Jesus is the king of kings and the Lord of all things. After Jesus died, he descended into hell to gather up the trapped individuals before his final act of offering security and help to all mankind - of every generation. And He is still ruler over all today.

So how come the world is having all these problems if He is on the throne of hell? The answer, don't groan, is that He has given you (the believer) all the power over all the enemy's power which you are to use in His Name. He has delegated the responsibility to all of us. And if we don't use it, it is not His fault. And if we don't use this power it doesn't get done.

He said, "I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19

There's a hitch - you must be a believer. This total power requires your and my believing, and believing depends on our knowing what He said we could and couldn't do, because how can we believe for something if we don't know what it is? Perhaps this explains why so many church people are not doing what the Bible says about stopping the devil. In fact, if you are experiencing Satanist acts in your school or college, many Christians will dismiss it with a shrug.

The reverse of this is - listen carefully - that if you are NOT a believer, using the Name of Jesus may be not very effective. It is only for His people.If you have not made your transaction with Jesus, the Messiah, here is your chance. It is very simple, there are only a few steps, but they are important and they must be understood and done in order.

First, you must recognize the fairly obvious fact that the world is a mess and you are not any better. This is called Sin, the recognition that in yourself, you can't straighten yourself or your world out because the problems around you are too big, and the problems inside you are overwhelming. This sense of futility and dismay is in everyone - a truth about ourselves that we must all face individually.

This is NOT the same as a bad self-image that may be caused by people telling you that you are no good. The difference here is that ALL people have the common problem - to know we are lost and then to decide to turn away from it, wishing we were different and that we could or would change. So we all must repent - that means not just being sorry - many people are sorry - some even swim in deep pools of remorse, but sorry enough to want to change, or better still - to want God to change you.If you think you can jazz yourself up into this business, you can't.

God does this if you ask Him to. He is even more eager for us to be rescued than we are, because only He knows how bad the world is or the extent of the mess we are headed for if we do not change direction.

Second, talking to God is called prayer but there are some prayers God does not hear - usually the kind that begin "I want". However when you say "God I need to be rescued" - He hears that. You can pray that He strengthen you and make it easier for you to do what He wants you to do in asking your commitment.

Third, you say, "Jesus, come into me heart." There are reasons for asking this specific prayer, but the bottom line is that every person's heart is in rebellion to God so instead of merely changing the heart God wants to do a transplant. This transplant puts a portion of the Holy Spirit, a new spirit, into you. The change is on the inside, but let me suggest this.

You may know that the Holy Spirit is inside (this is in your personal portion of God) if you get a few tears in your eyes, just the way you would if the wind blew a little too hard. So if you water-up without trying, you can believe that the Holy Sprit has passed by. You may notice a change in yourself - after all if you had been in surgery you would notice - but don't get hung up if something dramatic does not happen. God runs heaven, and how He does things is pretty much His business.

Fourth, and many people ignore this (but it is important because you may need to head back to the War Zone right away) I would recommend that you ask Jesus to give you all the power you need to fight the enemy, to learn to forgive those who have wronged you, and to help you to develop a changed and more sin-free life. It is the powerful people around you who have prayed this prayer.

If you have made this transaction with the Lord, some call it "getting saved", but as long as it is real the lingo doesn't matter much, then you have access to all the power promised in this book. But what if you have made no commitment yet? Unfortunately you have little power and the devil is free to continue making vulture-meat out of you.

The transaction as just described, however, is only one-fifth of what God has done for you on the cross.

First is salvation, or the covering of your sins with the blood of Jesus - that means when God looks at your past deeds He doesn't see them - they are covered over. Think of this as a police record that no one can read. How could they charge you with a crime? They can't read the rap sheet.

The second area is your Sin Nature and the wounds it creates. You were born with this. It's the thing in you that makes you demand your own way. Some adults still do this. Jesus changed this when He died also; he made it possible for your Sin Nature to be changed as well as getting rid of the past sins. Someday you may think your bad past is back to haunt you. No, that is just what you are inside. But Jesus is here to give you a new inside and a filling of the Holy Spirit too.

The third battle is against demons. That is what this book is about because it is a real war. Some people are occasionally born with them. My daughter received a demon of fear when I was pregnant with her. Pregnant women are extremely sensitive and their babies can pick up all things of good and bad reactions. We were at a basketball game and a riot began about six feet from me. I did not get a scratch on me at the time but I was terrified. As a result she has had a life-long problem with asthma; breathing problems are usually fear-based.

Homos*exuals may say they were born that way, but it is a demon, which must be cast out. It is NOT something God has placed in on anyone. No one is "made" wrong by God.

The fourth benefit of Jesus' dying for us is victory over curses discussed in the next chapter.

The fifth benefit of the cross is healing. If the demons are gone, the sin is dealt with, the Sin Nature has been axed, and the curses reversed, then go for healing. Demons and curses leave their marks on the physical body - much of the time it is erroneously called disease - and those effects can be healed.

In addition there are wounds caused both by the sin of others and by self-inflicted ones. All humans are victims of wounds throughout their lives, from teachers who humiliated us, from over bearing parents, from unpleasant employers, and so on. Children of alcoholics and children of preachers or politicians who must suffer from the press or reporters, or children of anyone who is walking out of God's order knows the reality of wounds.

Now for our review:

God's plan is this
· to cover sins with the blood
· to nail the sin nature (which has the curses attached) to the cross
· to heal disease
· to cast out demons.

But here is what happens instead. We try to
· bind up sin
· heal curses
· cast out wounds
· nail diseases to the cross
· and cover demons with the blood!!

It can't be done!! What we do must be the Bible way and in proper order.
At this point let us stop and allow any reader who has not made a commitment to Jesus to do so. If there is just you alone, read this prayer out loud. (In the next chapter you will understand why.)

But if there is a group have one person read aloud and the others repeat phrase by phrase. The prayer is in phrases to make this easy.

Lord Jesus
I really do not know
much about God or Jesus
but I do recognize
that I need help.
My life is not going in the right direction
and I need
whatever you have
for me.
I reject and hate
every involvement
with every occult activity.
I accept what Jesus did for me
on the cross
by dying for me
and for all mankind,

Curses

You have heard people say, "You are what you eat." Not so. You are what you and others say. Jesus said it is not what goes into a man that makes him filthy but He said, it is what comes out of a person that makes him unclean (Matthew 15:11) What comes out is words.

If you are with a person who uses obscene language your spirit senses that something nasty is going on around you even although you can't see it. All bad language affects people's lives, mostly their own but also yours, and it can be a curse. Bad language by itself and taking the Lord's Name in vain - like god damning things - is not necessarily A Curse. Cursing is not what you say but what happens by what you say. Curses cause events.

Only God and human beings can curse because God created Man in His Image. Just as God spoke the entire world into existence so people also speak things into existence. (Now don't stop to say Hot Fudge Sundae and expect it to appear. The created universe is already in place.)

But future events are not yet created. In contrast, Satan cannot create anything. (So he uses us.) He has no power to create good or evil, or sickness, or death. Or failing grades, or cancer, or broken legs, or a lost job. He would love to be able to do that but he cannot because he was not created in God's image. He wants and needs our mouths to create trouble.

As an experiment take notice of your friends who say - "Boy, that makes me sick." These are the ones who get sick. Then listen to the ones who complain continually about - I hate this - I hate that. You know hate is in there somewhere or it would not be advertising itself.

A few years ago I had gotten into the habit of saying I was so overworked I thought I would have a stroke. After I had a mild stroke I quit saying that and I also quit having them! So we can curse ourselves in varying degrees, as it says in Proverbs 18:21,
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue."
People curse without knowing it. Here are common examples you have heard:

That marriage will never last.
If you don't watch out, you'll get a cold.
You're just like your father!
You'll never amount to anything.

So you have heard curses after all!

"The tongue is a little member," says James, and boasts great things. With it we give praise to our Lord and Father; and with it we put a curse on men who are made in God's image. Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, it is not right for these things to be so.

Now God's curses are different from Man's curses. His curses are written down. Large sections of the Old Testament deal with curses. (The book God wrote is called the Bible and is in two parts, called testaments, Old and New.) And curses will continue until after a period prophesied by God called the millenium.. They can and do affect everybody in varying degrees. There is even a curse on a parent who fails to discipline his kids! And since this is a book on how to combat Satanism, you should know there is a curse for occult involvement.

In the United States there are new curses from a number of foreign wars fought in the 20th century, especially those in the Far East such as Japan, Vietnam, and Korea where the occult is more common and deeply rooted than in Europe with its Christian heritage. Soldiers became involved with idol temples, foreign prostitutess, and brought these demonic influences home with them. Since curses go from one male parent to his children, to the 3rd and 4th generation, there are families today suffering from curses on their family line, frequently divorce or the curse caused by premarital s*ex.

My grandfather bought a houseful of Japanese furniture; not only did he die before he was 40 years old, but all of his sons had more than one wife, my father having three. Two of three sons were alcoholics. If you believe there is a family curse, pray as I did.

I forgive my parents for bringing this curse on me and on the rest of the family. I renounce any connection my relatives and I have to it and I reverse the curses in Jesus' Name.

At this point I must speak to some people who are saying, "If you are a born-again believer, or walking closely with Jesus, then no curse can happen to you." The answer is this: a new relationship, which is what salvation is, has no effect on a preexisting condition. The very day you were saved if you had a cold, or cancer, or a bad back, or bad table manners, none of those things changed. Whatever you were before you take on into the next day.

That is why almost all "old time religion" emphasizes the fact that God wants holiness in His people. And deliverance from demons, curses, and all the rest is really holiness.

Here is an example from everyday life. Consider the prostitute who contracted syphilis, and then she has a baby who is born blind. It should be pretty obvious that God is not Some Big Bad Person who made this baby blind. It comes from the sin of someone else.

Let us pretend this prostitute is sorry about the disaster she has made of her life and she repents and asks Jesus to save her, which He does. But her being rescued from hell in the next life has no effect on her baby in this life. He is still blind. He is still there. Her sins are washed away but God did not remove the baby, which is the result of her sin, and he did not heal the baby either. It will take a separate work of God to correct each and every situation that sin has caused, or in this chapter, that curses cause.

So it is with curses and demons and all the powers of the enemy. Even though you can come into a new relationship with God, the conditions you previously created for yourself and that others may have created do not vanish. For example, if you lived "in sin" with someone outside of marriage, there is a curse for this and it does not go away. The results of that curse still hang on and must be dealt with the proper way.

To review:

God placed a curse on those involved in the occult and other forms of bad behavior. People can also speak curses out. You may want to go back to Emergency Tactics to recall how you can deal with curses. Future chapters also discuss this.

Defensive Tactics

In any war the first thing the solider must do to protect his or her position. If you are a student in a school or college where occult practices abound, you must guard yourself, your animals, and your property from attack, and remove anything from your life that might make an entrance for trouble.

Start with your personal possessions. Witches (witches are frequently men) will use a picture or a gift to locate you for the purpose of casting a spell or arranging a personal attack.

Here is a simple example that is all too common. A boy wants a girl to love him but she won't give him the time of day. So he gives her a picture and a gift, often jewelry, usually a ring, and before long she suddenly finds herself warming to him. Any affection that seems unnatural with someone you did not care for previously may be a set-up.

A gift can be for one of two reasons: to carry a spell to you for the purpose of altering your will, or, if you resist this person, for sending demons to your house to attack you. The item is a "mark" that identifies who you are to the enemy.
It happened to me. A witch gave me a brass filigree bracelet and within a few weeks two lesbian witches attacked me. (Lesbians can be extremely violent people, with equally violent demons.) Of course I did not know this at the time or I would not have accepted the gift. In the future, be careful from whom you accept gifts or to whom you give your picture. If this happened to you, or you suspect it, do not throw the item away. Gently give it back; you do not want more curses. Next, get your picture back.

Then you have a defensive weapon called the armor of God listed in the book of Ephesians in the New Testament of the Bible. It consists of seven pieces; seven symbolizes maturity or full growth. I put mine on before I go to bed so I can get a good night's rest. When I am awake the enemy knows I'm geared up ready to take him out.

Since you may not know the rules, let me give you another prayer to say before bedtime, or, if you are in a particularly offensive school, you may need to say this in the morning also. As always, do this aloud.

"Lord, I thank you for the spiritual armor that you have promised to your people. I place the helmet of salvation over my head to prevent hateful thoughts or wicked suggestions coming into my mind. I place the breastplate of righteousness around my heart and lungs to protect me from demons of fear and to keep my heart with God every day. A belt of truth goes around my waist. Keep me away form s*ex sins, not just the thought but also the temptation. On my feet goes the sandal to prepare others for the gospel of peace. Wherever I go I want people to know I mean business, and that I am a friend of the head of the Universe wanting for them what I have myself. On my belt is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. It has 2 edges, which will cut wickedness on one edge and protect good on the other. Over all is the shield of faith - Jesus' faith that is better than my faith."

The 7th piece is "praying always in the spirit." You wonder how you could pray without ceasing while your mind is doing something else- like math? Here is the clue. Ask your spirit to be praying while your mind and body are out doing a day's work. This is possible because you are made up of three parts - the spirit is the part that belongs to God, the soul is your Mind, Emotions, and Will (that's the part of you that needs help) and the body is a case that carries the other two.

Later we'll see more on defensive warfare in the chapter on angels.

Offensive Tactics

There will come a time when you may wish to branch out from a strictly defensive position. So in addition to blessing those who curse you, and you MUST do that, you can also reverse the curse back to the sender.

Several thousand years ago there was a daring and brassy plot to legally kill, millions of men, women, and children. The King wrote letters so they would die all in one day. The Death Curse is by far and away the worse one. It is common in voodoo societies where natives understand curses and believe they will take place, as believing gives the devil extra power. Believing also gives God extra power. As a result when they hear they are going to die they agree with the demon, and that causes their death. The same is true for you. If you agree with what is going on, you endanger yourself. Satan can't hurt you without your permission.

So Queen Esther, a former Beauty Queen, the highest-ranking woman in this country who never had a lift a finger and who didn't really need to get involved said to the king:

"If it please the king, and if I have found favor in his sight, and the thing seems right before the king, and I am pleasing in his eyes, let it be write to reverse the letters which he wrote to destroy" this people.

As a result the man who hatched this plot was hanged. To copy this successful woman, here is a simple prayer:

God I have blessed this person as Your Word commands, and now I reverse this curse back to where it started.

Writers and deliverance ministers report that the demons can't stand this prayer; demons say they must pay a heavy penalty for reversed curses. Now that's what I like to hear. Occasionally demons talk to people and their comments are available in books by foreign missionaries where you will find fascinating tales about curses.

As for you, do not engage the devils in conversation. If you need to know anything you can ask God for the information. And demons like to talk, but since they like to lie, you can't know if they are telling you the truth anyway.

The second offensive tactic is Binding and Loosing. Your legal authority to do this is as follows:

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

But when and where can we do this? Here is an example. When my daughter was a senior in high school she had one good friend who believed, as she did, in the authority of believers. A magician was coming to the school to demonstrate his fantastic powers. He would slash his tongue with a razor blade and there would be neither damage to the tongue nor blood.

My daughter and her friend went to the demonstration (you can pronounce that DEMON-stration if you like) and bound the evil spirits working in him right there on the stage. Frustrated, he left the auditorium. Here is a sample of what these girls said which you can vary to suit your needs:

Satan, I know who you are and I know what you are doing. You haven't fooled me. I also know Jesus has given me all power over the enemy and every single activity of your disgraced kingdom. I bind the demons in Jesus' Name and I command that you to be bound hands and feet, and gagged in the mouth so you can't speak. I ask for an angel to escort you off this property and to take you to the foot of the cross for further instructions from the Lord. I do all this in Jesus Name.

Spiritual warfare is not praying to God but speaking directly to the enemy, by Name if possible, which is why you talk to the devils in the first person. Another situation recently is of an 11-year old whose friends ganged up on him, and wouldn't let him be part of their group. Here is a sample prayer:

Devil, I know what you are doing to my friends. I bind the demon of jealously, strife, confusion, superiority, exclusiveness, and self-importance, In Jesus' Name.

If you are having trouble with some situation think about what is really going on and bind the demons. If your boss swears all the time, it won't take long to realize this is a foul mouth spirit. Bind it. Don't do this when a person can hear you or they'll think you are talking to them personally. My daughter once had a miserable test (she was in the 7th grade at the time) and she became so frightened she developed a stomachache. She marched into the girls' bathroom (thank heavens it was empty) and said out loud - very loud:

Demon of fear I bind you in Jesus' Name and command you to leave my stomach right now.

It worked, of course and I don't recall her being frightened again of her schoolwork. In fact she made Honor Society.

When you bind demons do not forget to gag them too. Angels (good ones) do this for you. Demons cannot bind themselves or gag themselves any more than you can do it to yourself. There is a particularly dangerous demon called the Spirit of a Wicked Counselor who will talk you into doing something wrong, suicide being perhaps first, but also into illegal drugs, even a bad marriage.

The demons wiggle loose and since they assume you don't really know what you are doing; YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN AND MAYBE EVEN AGAIN. Don't take NO for an answer from the enemy; the Law is on your side.

Several years ago our newspaper was libeling both a group and its leader. Some of us bound the spirit of Witchcraft (controlling others' lives is what witchcraft is) and Lies and Contempt for the public, and the reporters never showed up again.

Finally, Satanists use animals for sacrifices. If you have cats or dogs, especially black ones, you will want to pray over them. You do not need to do this every day; once in a while is fine. Your animals will love it. Here is a sample prayer:

Lord Jesus, I have the authority in my over my own animals as the scripture says. I pray a blessing over my animals and ask you to guard them and to keep them from all evil people. I ask you to hide them if they are in danger. I bind and loose anything that would seek my animals out, in Jesus' Name, and I ask for the blood of Jesus to protect them as they wander about.

Jesus died for the whole creation, not only human beings. Now that you know how it is done, try all these prayers on your own situations. God wants to prove to you His power (it's not yours) because He (1) wants you to be free and (2) He wants you to Praise Him.

Velcro© (or how did I get into this mess)

Previously we saw how Satanism takes over - alcohol, pornography, drugs, and movies - but why are some people afflicted with many more problems, or are so easily infested? The answer lies in the relationship of our sin to the devil's kingdom. It is like Velcro© , the little plastic sticky strips that have tiny teeth imbedded on one side and tiny matching teeth on another strip. They quickly mesh together and if you have ever gotten a piece of cotton on it, you know how hard it is to pick out. It is a wonderful product; which fits so perfectly this unpleasant truth.

Satanic activity is like Velcro© , the more you do wrong, the more it sticks to you on the inside. The fact that you can't see it does not make much difference. Eventually you will be overrun by whatever has stuck to you.

Let's say you play Bloody Mary, channeling, crystals, or Ouija Board. It is a small thing at the time but there is something sticking on the inside. Your Velcro© is in place with one demon and now there is enough room for another demon to latch his teeth in. Next time it is levitating the table or having a séance.

The spirits speaking from the dead at a séance are demons; dead people do not get to come back. Demons live forever so some of them will know secret things about your grandmother, including how to fake her voice. The more you practice the occult, the more available you are, the more sticky stuff there is, that is more demons to hassle you.

Some people are born with this spiritual sticky stuff in place - the children of alcoholics, those who were rejected in the womb, those who were conceived out-of-wedlock (even if the parents married later) and many, many more situations.

Homos*exuality is always demonic and it often comes in the womb. When these fellows (and some women too) say, "I was born this way," they are not lying. They just don't know the devil is behind it all. Their family creates the spiritual Velcro© from the start. Think of it as spiritual genes. You look like the sins of your fathers, just as you look like them in the mirror. That is why adopted children must ask God to reveal to them the nature of their original family so they can deal with a possible unpleasant inheritance.

My mother used to brag that she had tried to abort me but was not successful. But because I was conceived in lust, I was born with a spirit of lust. It didn't manifest itself in s*ex but there are plenty of things to lust after besides s*ex. She was also involved in some occult practices and those demons were around our home.

Let me give you an example. When I first heard about reincarnation I said to myself - "Hey, that make a lot of sense!" I was about 10 years old at the time. Of course it made sense to me; I had a demon of reincarnation inside me from my family. What kind of family you are born into will determine how much of this sticky stuff you have inside to invite the demons in.

The reverse is also true; Godly families have fewer demons because they are keeping guard over their spirits and living in holiness.

In addition to any occult behavior, wrong s*ex behavior is also "Velcro"© to you - no matter what. Demons pass through intercourse, not just s*ex demons but those of disease, mental problems, or anything the prostitute or rapist has attached to his own body. Not every demon this person has will attach to you but many do, and the more people you go to bed with, the more demons you get.

AIDS is a visible disease, which reveals what is sticking to the "Velcro"© on the inside. A friend developed multiple sclerosis on her wedding night and has been in a wheel chair ever since. It is usually the woman who picks up the demons from a man - even if when he is her legal husband.

The Bible says women are weaker - not because they are inferior in any way - but because they are more heavily influenced by the demonic problems of the husband (or father) who is the legal authority. The farther down the line of authority you are, the more problems you have inherited from above.

That is another reason Satan goes after children because they are weaker and they suffer from the mistakes of those above them. (Of course, if you have Godly authorities, your boss, your parents, your teachers, and even your president - then the blessing will also flow down.) God honors the chain of command that He has mandated.

Perhaps as a single young woman you are considering getting pregnant and having a baby - someone to love. Forget it. Not only will you be on welfare as national statistics show, you will also give this baby demons of lust, bastardy, rejection, and fornication at the very minimum. The fellow you have intercourse with may have a pile of demons of his own - now they have attached to both the baby and you. If he slaps you up the child will feel all those wounds as well.

Another Velcro© is incest. In satanic circles incest victims are "marked" for a future in the unholy church of Satan. These girls and boys are known in the companies of evil spirits who seek them out. If this has happened to you there are specially called Christian counselors who handle cases of ritual child abuse.

More demons and more virulent demons attach because of s*ex sins on a graduated scale. Incest and pedophilia (child s*exual abuse) are the worst, but adultery, fornication, masturbation, etc. do not get better over time; the problems increase. Ted Bundy, the serial killer who was obsessed with pornography and then murdered many women, was truly demon-possessed. It never gets better; it never goes away by itself. It always gets worse, and the worse it gets the harder it is to be rid of.

Drugs and alcohol add more Velcro© sticky landing fields where demons can thrive or just lie in wait until they have an opportunity. Demons hide in body cavities where they want a "fix" of some kind, like drugs or alcohol, or porn, swearing, compulsive eating, lying or even arguing. The more you give them a fix, the happier and bigger they become until they can eventually control your whole personality. A person whose entire personality is controlled by demons is called "possessed" and generally you never see these people because they will be institutionalized.

Most drugs prescribed to control demons only keep them happy. Drugs are like giant Velcro - so big and so powerful they produce a fortress-like barricade behind which the demon lives without fear of being disturbed. Most anti-depressants are like this.

Another sticky landing field is abuse. Children or adults who have been frequently beaten are often marks for demonic activity. A weak physical body is less able to ward off demonic attacks. Extreme fatigue, bad nutrition, and physical disease make a person of any age more susceptible to demonic infiltration. But not to worry . . . Don't forget.

Luke 10:19, Jesus said . . . " See, I have given you power to put your feet on snakes and evil beasts, and over all the strength of him who is against you: and nothing will do you damage."

You are a victor. All power means just that - all power. The legal authority quoted above is the most important Law you have. Serpents symbolize the things of Satan and scorpions are those vicious little creatures that smile at you one minute and then sting you with deadly poison the next. You've met 'em.

Another offensive tactic is fasting. Yes, going without real food. It takes practice and you'll learn that every other ad on TV is for food! But Satanists also fast. A witch on an airplane told the man sitting next to her that Satanists in Africa are fasting for marriages to break up in America, especially marriages of leading ministers and those very people who are dedicated to stopping the devil and rescuing kids from the pits. If the enemy 's people can fast, so can we. Go to someone you know who fasts, or mention it to your parents, if they are believers, for information on this.

I got into demons with some detail because these activities describe the progression from a tiny bit of occult involvement or s*ex sin into a lot of demonic trouble. If you have been involved with any kind of Satanism, palm reading, handwriting analysis, astrology, you have a landing pad of Velcro© inside where demons can live and increase. The time to stop is now before it is out of control.

Finally, this should be obvious. If you are being dragged into this, find yourself some new friends. You don't need this, and if they won't back off from the satanic, lose them. Find company on your level or risk sinking to theirs. Now, let's turn to your allies, the angels.

Angels

Earlier we learned that demons are angels who were kicked out of heaven. But two-thirds of them remained in heaven and are ready to help us today. If I were a cartoonist I would draw a picture of an Unemployment Office where angels are leafing through magazines, sitting around bored, and doing nothing but waiting. That is because angels are powerless to move without prayer or God's command.

No one is allowed to pray to angels, which would be counted as another form of the occult. But when you pray to God, He dispatches the angels to help you. So, let's go back to the school where someone has a gun. You say - STOP in the Name of Jesus - and that is all you see, but . . .

The demons in the killer see angels, very large ones, standing by you. It terrorizes the person's demons; he runs away. The person with the gun does not see the angel but his demons see the angels and they flee. Most demons are very small - you would laugh if you could see how small. They are extremely ugly of course, sometimes covered with warts, horribly deformed, and if you want to see what they look like try the Saturday morning cartoons or ordinary comic books.

The people who draw these forms of entertainment frequently do drugs so they have seen demons and can draw them exactly. Other non-demonic-led people see them occasionally too so the truth can be verified. There are twice as many good angels as bad ones so you are not outnumbered.

Angels will answer prayers for safety on the roads, to protect you and others, to lead or make a way when things are difficult. Whatever you pray according to the Bible can be answered by sending an angel. Don't expect to see them as they are pictured on television. That is not the usual way God does business. Good angels keep themselves and their business secret almost all of the time.

Teflon©

You notice that we are at the end of the book. You have come to some conclusions about the problems that you have seen. You may have even gotten some deliverance, which is what freedom from demons is called. Now you will want to grow better - to have a sticky-free life - to give up sin and everything that means. The opposite from sticky things that attracts demons is the Teflon© life - nothing sticks to it. Is this possible?

My first suggestion is that you find some other books to read. One of these is an easy to find book called Pigs in the Parlor by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond. If you feel any rejection this is an excellent place to start. There are over ¼ million of these books around and you may even find one in a yard sale for 25 cents. This book takes you into the next stage of learning and getting cleaner from your sticky Velcro© . (The theologians, by the way, call deliverance "holiness.")

Second, if you have entertained thoughts of suicide or murder you may have learned this from occult books, horror movies, rock music tapes, cassettes, or videos. Burn it. You say - "But I have a lot of money tied up in this stuff!" Perhaps you do, but after you are dead and gone you won't be here to enjoy it. If you have any questions about rock and suicide read The Devil's Disciples or a book called Why Knock Rock? These books describe the subliminal messages placed on the track suggesting murder, suicide, ra*pe, and other acts that your conscious mind would not really consider. You may be able to find them in your local library.

Third, burn your own pornography. I would not suggest burning your brother's stuff. He must do this on his own. Then find some help for yourself. Next to suicide this is the worst enslaver of all. Also, check out those gifts and photographs we talked about in the chapter on Curses. But that's not all. If you don't get into boot camp the enemy will be on your tail again. Where can you find someone who takes you and your problems seriously?

Start with the person who gave you this book. S/He may know where something is happening, people like yourself who are trying to escape from the clutches of the enemy. If that is not possible, perhaps you are in a church; you could ask around but be careful since not everyone will take you or your life story seriously. Remember this: the man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an opinion or a theory.

Your experience tells you what is real, even if you might have interpreted it incorrectly. Do not let people talk you out of what you know to be true. If you meet someone who says, "Dear, we mustn't look for demons everywhere, we must look at Jesus" you know to keep on truckin' until you find something else. Many people are very happy where they are and do not want to learn anything new about God.

In imitation churches you'll find people who talk constantly, controlling others with verbal noise; it may even be hard for you to think. If so, find the door and be gone. Diarrhea of the mouth is a sign of a troubled mind. Expect the devil to send someone to discourage you or to try to destroy your faith. It always happens.

You should also know how to spot a cult. First, they do not believe that Jesus is the One and only God, creator of the Universe, actually appearing in the world in a flesh body. They might call Him something else, like a great Prophet, or a Son, or a special man used in some way. Second, all cults deny that it was the Blood of Jesus that paid for our sins. Aside from these things, most other beliefs are denominational; some are right, some are wrong but for now ignore this. If you have been part of the occult you still need a good place to settle in and learn about God, which is what He has wanted for you all along.

Perhaps you or your family attend no church, so how can you find a good one? Larger churches have home or care groups that can be helpful to newcomers. My suggestion is that you disregard how the churches treat you; some will fawn all over you, others will ignore you. Rather, watch how they treat each other. If many members have lots of different jobs you know it is a healthy church. But if there is competition among people and only a few do all the jobs, you know there will be no room for nurturing you. The Bible says you will know the Christians by how much they love one another. That is your clue in leaving your past behind, in finding a church and moving on with your life.
